Each Sunday morning at 11am we meet together to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and to share bread and wine amongst our baptised members. We do this following the example of first century believers and, in obedience to Jesus’ command.
“Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this do in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24-25.
“And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread…” Acts 20v7.
This is a very important part of our worship and a good way to start each week. We sing hymns, pray, read and talk about the Bible and, enjoy the company of one another.
Visitors are welcome at our memorial meetings, although partaking of the bread and wine is limited to baptised members of the Christadelphian faith. The statement of faith which is the basis for our fellowship can be found here.
