Global Promises
God made promises to certain people in the Bible which contain benefits:
- For themselves
- For their descendants
- Ultimately for all humanity
Recipients include Abraham, the father of the Jewish race (Genesis 12, 14, 15, 22) and David - a prominent Jewish king. (2 Samuel 7)
These promises contain key elements of the gospel taught in the New Testament by Jesus Christ and his followers. (Galatians 3:8,26-29)
Although these promises were made thousands of years ago to the Jewish fathers, their benefits can still be shared by people today. (Galations 3:9, Acts 3:25-26)
"And the Scripture...preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed" Gal 3:8
